What is a conversation set I hear you ask?
Conversation; interactive verbal communication between two or more people.
A conversation set is all about inspiring good old-fashion face-to-face conversation, information-sharing, advice-giving, opinion-sharing, generating new ideas - learning. Conversing gives us emotional and social benefits too, time with friends and family makes us feel connected to others which is an important part of who we are.
The perfect conversation set would include at least two comfortable chairs, although a conversation set is not limited to two, the more the merrier. A coffee table or occasional table is often considered the hub of your set and a practical piece of furniture to hold the all-important stuff..............the champagne bucket or a pot of tea.
You could consider adding a footrest or ottoman to your set for those times you may like to stretch out and relax. A conversation set doesn't need to be matchy-matchy, the premise is interaction, fun, and laughter.... it's your set.
For those among us who are no longer using the large outdoor table and chairs or maybe a downsize is on the way, a conversation set is a good option to create a new shared space, whether for two, four or six.
Maybe it's time to call your friends and amp up the conversation.
