Care & Warranty

Fermob Care Advice

Please take the greatest care when unwrapping your furniture so as not to damage it in any way. Damage from knives and scissors, scratches from staples, or from placing tabletops directly on the ground are not covered under the manufactures warranty.

Below you will find information on caring for Fermob furniture and links for further information, cleaning metal furniture, using touch-up paint to treat scratches and age spots, and how to protect Fermob furniture during Summer and Winter. Australian weather conditions can be harsh understanding how to care for your furniture will ensure your furniture's longevity.

Metal furniture can be cleaned using clean water or water containing a non-detergent soap.

Once cleaned furniture should then be wiped dry with a clean cloth to remove any smears of traces of limescale.

Abrasive sponges should not be used to wipe Fermob furniture, and no abrasive powders or other types of abrasive detergent or products should be used.

For dirt that is more heavily ingrained you should use a non-abrasive multi-purpose cleaner.

We recommend that you clean off traces of bird droppings, sap or any other droppings from surrounding trees/plants as quickly as possible, as these can be particularly damaging and may lead to permanent corrosion or staining of your furniture.

Do not place pot plants or surfaces with rough bottoms directly onto Fermob metal tables as this may cause damage to the surface. If you do scratch your Fermob table, we recommend treating it as soon as possible.
